September, with fickle weather and heavy rain, did not scare us and IarmarEco 2024 took place successfully! On top of the fair, however, we also managed to launch the communication campaign on waste management in the Republic of Moldova and to create several informative materials.

Waste management in the Republic of Moldova remains a major challenge due to the lack of infrastructure, but also due to the low involvement of the population in the prevention, reuse and composting of organic waste. The rubbish you dump at the edge of your village doesn't stay there, it pollutes your water, soil and air, and later ends up in the food and water on your table!

In the next few years, an integrated waste management system will be created within the framework of the National Solid Waste Program in the Republic of Moldova, and until then, we need to learn how to reduce the amount of rubbish we make every day and how to manage it properly.

Mini-grants for "Creative Recycling Workshop" dedicated to schools in regions 5, 8, 1* in Moldova

EcoVisio together with E-circular is implementing the project Moldova #FărăDeșeuri** and will offer mini-grants of 500-600 euro, within the available budget, for the creation of creative recycling workshops in 8-15 educational institutions. See general information before applying here.

Poster on climate disinformation

Misinformation is when false information is spread to make us believe something that is not true. During one of our webinars, we premiered the FLICC poster, translated into Romanian and Russian, which explains the types of misleading rhetoric used to sow confusion, and looked at concrete examples, real cases showing how these tactics work.
