Rebound in County Sales Tax Revenue - After two years of declining County Sales Tax revenue, Grundy County brought in $3,077,882 in 2021, surpassing the three million dollar mark for the first time since 2014. Sales tax in Grundy had been in decline since 2018, which saw a relative peak at $2,648,967.
Director Garcia and Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) staff will be making a visit to Grundy County on June 15 to meet with representatives from county and local municipalities to host a roundtable discussion soliciting feedback and sharing information about grant opportunities and programs.
Applications Open for $36 Million Exelon Racial Equity Capital Fund - ComEd, in partnership with the Exelon Foundation, launched a Racial Equity Capital Fund (RECF) to expand access to capital to minority businesses so they can create more jobs, grow their companies, and reinvest in their neighborhoods and communities.
