Updated: Planned MYS downtime

The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) has adjusted its previously planned schedule of maintenance on the Manage Your Service (MYS) portal.

This maintenance – during which pharmacy owners will be unable to access or manage submissions for certain services – will now take place on 8th and 15th February 2025, between 7am and 6pm.

Face-to-Face Training Event Norfolk & Waveney Pharmacies

We are delighted to confirm that NHS Norfolk & Waveney ICB, along with CPPE and the LPC will be holding a Contraception Awareness event on Sunday, 2nd March 2025, this will help with the delivery of the NHS Pharmacy Contraceptive Service.

Please check your NHS email account for booking details. This event is only open to Norfolk & Waveney Pharmacists.

Please also kindly share the booking details with any locum Pharmacists too.

Details of an event for Suffolk Pharmacies will be available soon.

NHS England East of England Antimicrobial Stewardship CPD offer

The regional NHS England AMS team have put forward a CPD offer to support the development of pharmacy professionals. To scope the appetite and uptake of this offer and to inform the team on areas of interest within this domain, please complete the survey below by 14^th February.

The learner groups of focus are new AMS Pharmacy Professionals in primary and secondary care (GP practice, PCN, ICB, community pharmacy and Health & Justice). A similar scoping activity for other learner groups including trainee pharmacists and PTPTs is ongoing.

NHS England EoE Antimicrobial Stewardship CPD offer

SNEE Pharmacies:

National RSV invitation campaign

From 10 February 2025 NHS England will launch a national RSV invitation campaign.

Invitations will be sent using a digital first approach to individuals who turn 75 years old ahead of 10 February 2025 as well as individuals that were aged 75- 79 as of 1 September 2024 and are unvaccinated.

Invitations will not be sent to individuals that have:

Already been vaccinated.
A future RSV booking on NBS.
Requested nationally to opt out of the RSV vaccination programme.
Never previously been registered with a GP.

Also, invitations will not be sent to eligible pregnant women.

The invitation will include a call to action for eligible people to contact their GP to book an RSV vaccination appointment. GPCE have been informed of the invitation campaign and a communication will be issued via the primary care bulletin.

A separate invitation campaign will be run for eligible individuals living in the 2 ICB areas (MSE and SNEE) where the community pharmacy providers have been commissioned to deliver RSV vaccinations. These invitations will include a link to the national booking system where vaccination appointments can be booked at the commissioned community pharmacy sites.

SNEE pharmacies that are participating in the RSV early adopter programme may see an increase in booked appointments.
