Northborough Recreation is beginning a new journey with the Special Olympics.  They are currently offering an adult walking group, unified basketball and soccer. 

Unified is open to all people both with or without intellectual and/or developmental disabilities ages 8 - 15. They are looking for team mates who genuinely want to support each others growth as they develop social and athletic skills together. 

The rumors are true! After many years of work among advocates and special education experts, DESE is rolling out a new IEP form throughout Massachusetts.

Select districts in MA will begin using the new IEP this year, however, the NSBORO school district won't roll out the new IEP until September 2024 (along with most districts in MA).
