Perfectly Provence Travel Lifestyle Magazine

In France, May 1st is the FĂŞte du Travail (Labour Day) and what a difference a year makes! Twelve months ago, I suggested that the four public holidays, in the next month, were a terrific excuse for road trips. Sadly, this year has delivered a completely different reality around the globe. The restrictions are inconvenient, but the incredible dedication of first responders, medical teams, researchers and leaders is inspiring.

It has been encouraging to everyone adapting to the changes. Recently, we have joined Zoom cocktail parties to stay in touch with friends and to celebrate birthdays. Despite the disruption of travel plans, it is motivating to explore the endless online resources, from language instruction to cooking classes to yoga lessons. At this stage, since none of us know what the new “normal” will look like, I invite you to escape to Provence for a short period while reading these articles.
