【Academics】

Teaching Observation Month!  NEW
This is an opportunity to help parents understand students’ learning environment, classroom teaching and class organization. There is no limitation on how many and/or which classes you can observe, parents are encouraged to observe as many classes as you can, however, seats are limited, please register early. Sign-up form is open now.

 

11/12 & 11/19 The 9th Glove Puppet Show Competition Is On! NEW
Join us on Sundays (11/12 & 11/19) to experience the LIVE Glove Puppet Shows at ECS! Please come and cheer for our students! They apply the knowledge learned from the Culture Program and come up with creative scripts and ideas. Don’t miss their original posters, sound, special effects, and modern stories!

●     Time -  11/12  3:10-3:50 pm and 11/19, 3:10-3:50 pm

●     Location: 1F Lecture Hall

 

12/10 ECS Speech Contest  IMPORTANT
Students have been reminded to decide on the topic and to start preparing for the speech contest. This is a mandatory event in ECS. The contest is scheduled on 12/10, please start to prepare.(View Contest rules )  For students who won’t be able to attend this contest, please send your video to academic@nvaecs.org before 1:00 pm on 12/10/2023.

 

Contest Judge and Event Volunteer Sign-Up
The sign-up for academic contests is still available.. Please contact your room parent if you want to support the school. Activities open for signing up include: Speech Contest (12/10/2023), Chinese New Year Festival (2/11/2024), and Vocabulary Contest (5/1/2024). Please refer to School Service-point Tasks for detail.

Congratulations to ECS Star MyCT App Contest Team

Congratulations to Anthony Chen from E6A scoring top 200 in the Global Chinese Speech Contest Open hosted by Overseas Community Affairs Council of the Republic of China (OCAC of Taiwan). The final round is hosted in November 2023. Best wishes to our 7 participants.

Welcome both ECS and non-ECS families!  Come for any 1 night or all 7 nights!

●     2023 ECS ski trip can be 1 to 7 nights between 12/21 and 12/27

Fundraising Opportunities NEW
