Hello everyone!

Another month has flown by, and here in Maryland we have watched the leaves change colors and the temperature begin to drop. The winter months are here and we are officially finished our 2024 show travel obligations. But, that doesn't mean we aren't continuing to buy and sell comics! 

First, let's take a look at the last couple of weeks. Soon after Baltimore Comic Con we were tasked with heading to New York City for the ever growing New York Comic Con. This show once again lived up to the hype in terms of both attendance and size. We were extremely busy all weekend long with buyers looking for both high end material and cheaper books alike.

There was a lot of interest in our Amazing Spider-Man keys that we brought, and Golden Age Batman and Detectives also seemed to be a popular request along with WWII era Timelys. 

After a 6 day trip up to NYC and back, we had a few weeks back in the office before heading down to Dallas for the Collector's Summit held at Heritage Auctions. This show is just a few years old and what I would consider a boutique event that focuses exclusively on extremely rare comics and pulps. 

We flew down with a modest set up, and had a great time networking with fellow collectors and dealers alike. We were able to complete several successful trades, and brought home 10+ new books that were listed on the website last week. One of the highlights was meeting our dad, Greg, at the show, and taking him out to celebrate his 62nd birthday. I know many of you have great memories of dealing with my dad, and I'm happy to report that he is doing very well and enjoying his retirement down in Florida. 

With our last trip finished, we spent the past few weeks back in the office adding as much new material to the website as possible with more than 1,000 new books added in total since our last newsletter update. We now have more than 20,000 books to choose from when shopping at www.reececomics.com. We have continued to add deep runs of many Silver and Bronze Age titles including Amazing Spider-Man, Batman, Detective Comics, Avengers, and many more. We also added a small group of Fawcett's and some extremely tough Archie books.

Of course, I know that most of you are eagerly waiting for some news on our annual Black Friday sale, and I will be sending out an email the week of Thanksgiving with all of the details, so be sure to keep an eye out for that. 

Remember, we are always buying! There is no collection too big or too small and we are willing to travel. Please send us a list of the items you have to sell and we will get back with you as soon as possible.

We will also be updating our calendar for all of the conventions we will be attending in 2025.
