Weekly In Progress Report

DER Director News

The DER office is currently revamping the ticket system to provide for a more efficient and user-friendly system. Stay tuned for more information!

Feedback Needed

The College of Engineering is developing policies for faculty engaged in startup companies regarding how we can safely involve students in company research while ensuring academic progress is being made and overseen by unconflicted individuals or entities. Please provide feedback to John Verboncoeur or the Engineering Research Committee.

Office of Sponsored Programs

OSP has updated their Sponsor Information pages. There are links to sponsor specific web pages that include standard categories of information such as: What’s New, Proposal Guidelines, Budget Guidelines, Award Guidance, Compliance, Prior Approvals, Reporting, Record Retention, and more! This is a good resource when preparing proposals and managing sponsored projects.

Academic Analytics

Academic Analytics now allows users to access the portal via your MSU Net ID and password. You no longer need to keep track of the username and password that Academic Analytics assigned when you completed their training webinar.

Please contact Kyle Sweitzer with questions.
