Our Yoga Philosophy

Kuring-gai Yoga teachers have an authentic awareness and approach to teaching Yoga. It is important to share the knowledge that we have in a way that is meaningful, achievable and with safety for all students. We want the yoga experience to be one of mindful attention to the needs of our yoga community. We do not follow trends, we are seeking out only that which serves you well, keeps you well and honour the traditions of Yoga.

The 11 classes that we offer during the week are planned with many considerations:

...Time of the day, seasons, weather, experience level of the students. We seek to offer you a class that brings you total body awareness, breath awareness, consciousness awareness. Helping you create the neural pathways that linking the 'whole' body.... connection! Body, mind, breath and soul. This is Yoga!

Asana As a Gateway to Self Discovery

I found this article and I thought it fitted well with the theme of my posting to you today. Yoga as a means to discover yourself!

When we are ready to look deeper and learn more about ourselves, Yoga shows up! We arrive at a Yoga class with the body work as the major motivation but we learn so much more.

Its like the body focus in a yoga practice opens the door and entices us to discover more about ourselves.

Term 1 is 9 weeks: Feb 1st - April 1st

No Classes Good Friday or Easter Saturday.

Reminding you that Term 1 is 9 weeks. I have not adjusted the 10 week fee price when you pay online and invite you to select an additional class during the term.

However, if this is not possible I will certainly make arrangements to adjust the fee individually.

There are make up classes organised for those who attend on Fridays and Saturdays and I will confirm that date with you in week 1.
