The Tennessee Science Olympiad Board of Directors is excited to share plans for the 2021 Science Olympiad tournament season.

National Science Olympiad has laid out a strategy for continuing student participation that is geared to all students and all teams (available at soinc.org). With respect to Tennessee:

• All Tennessee regional tournaments will be hosted virtually based on the Mini SO model identified by National Science Olympiad.
• In addition to the 16 events listed on the Mini SO model, there will be two build events (TBD) making the total number of events per division 18 at both regional and state competitions.

• All teams will compete in regional tournaments in six fixed events each week for three weeks – Feb. 13, 20, and 27
