Hello Readers,
Happy 4th of July, happy Independence Day, happy Freedom!
There's a FREEBIE giveaway below for all who use an e-reader.
How is your summer going so far? Mine has been pretty "gloomy." Okay, not in a bad way. In California, however, we have had June gloom for the whole month, with only a couple of days of sunshine. Gloom really does affect one's outlook. It takes work to perk myself up. Do you ever feel like that, like it's a pull-yourself-up-by-the-bootstraps day? Don't worry about me. I'm doing fine. I'm writing. I'm socializing. But, man, there have been a few days where it's been tough. Luckily, I have my sweet Sparky dog to drag me outside for a walk twice a day. Walking always helps! Unless you are one of the poor people suffering from the smoke from the fire! Yipes!! Stay inside. My heart goes out to you all.
But back to my writing. I turned in my "edited" suspense novel to my new publisher and just heard back that she loved all the changes I made. Whee! It comes out in January 2024. Stay tuned.
Meanwhile, I'm rewriting the first manuscript in the new mystery series that will come out in August next year, 2024. I love starting a new project. Whenever I do, I get to meet so many new characters and learn their history. Sometimes their histories surprise me. I can't wait to share more with you as we get nearer to that release, summer 2024.
For your reading pleasure, I did have two books come out this year. I hope you will take the opportunity to enjoy them and perhaps share them with friends or librarians.
Poaching is Puzzling is the 12th Cookbook Nook Mystery.
A Flicker of a Doubt is the 4th Fairy Garden Mystery.
