Low susceptibility to FOMO. Remember, good investing is measured in long time periods. Don't feel the need to buy something just because it's hyped!

The Part Time Creator Manifesto Shawn crossed a tremendous milestone recently: $100k worth of sales from his side project! Unlike many indie hackers, he doesn't want to quit his job. He talks about how makers can successfully run side projects while working.
He articulates so beautifully what I believe - you can run a side project & be amazing at work at the same time, and doing both simultaneously actually helps enrich the value of your work. Being a part-time creator is a happy space in a long-term game, and you don't have to quit your job to be a successful maker.
Side note: I highly recommend not tying your entire identity to your job, and I believe that running a side project gives you optionality, while enabling you to learn a ton of things. Write a newsletter. Create a site. Sell some things. Produce videos.
