Best Sellers March

Sarah Winman's "Still Life" just managed to tip Trent Dalton's "Love Stories" from top position, selling 848 copies in March (-23).

"Love Stories Uplifting True Stories about Love" was second with 789 sales (-404).

Popular author Marian Keyes, moved up from 11th into third with "Again Rachel", selling 732 copies (+140).

KPI's

In March both New Zealand and Australia's sales stats were down compared to 2021. Perhaps not surprising given recent consumer confidence (especially in NZ). Year To Date looks a little better with NZ up around 2% and AU 1.3%.

Updates in March

In March work continued on the Circle gift card system including the design of the interface to sell Circle gift cards thorough the website. We also added an improvement to the Product Field, making it possible to add any selected special fields to the advanced Search.

Work on Bin Fulfilment and Staff IDs continued, with transactions now linked to Staff IDs in the POS. 

System upgrade work included search, framework and R6 development.

ABA Conference Sydney

The ABA conference is taking place at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sydney on Sunday 12th and Monday 13th June 2022. Circle will be in attendance and we very much look forward to connecting with everyone. It feels like a long time since we have seen many of you!

The whanau and I enjoyed riding the Alps to Ocean cycle trail over Easter. The trail connects Aoraki Mt Cook to the coastal town of Oamaru, and bypasses our family farm. It was a good way to burn off the Easter chocolate!
