Happy Friday Friends!

"Welcome back to "The Cre8tive Life!"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and cool things to check out!

This past week has been pretty jam-packed. I went to a couple of NY Fashion Week events, a launch party for my friend's annual summit, began a new intense client project, and participated in a team building cookie decorating experiment.

Be sure to check out my pictures, video highlights, stories, and other life musings on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week---I try to post some of my randomness there.

*And, if you have missed any previous newsletters, feel free to check out the archive section on my website: HERE.

Have an AMAZING weekend and upcoming week!

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Interstitial (adj): occurring in or being an interval or intervening space or segment

  • ADVICE: “Get honest with people about who you are, what you want, and how you expect to be treated. Standards only scare off people not meant for you." - Anonymous

  • MOOD MUSIC: A friend shared this rare a capella version of Marvin Gaye singing the timeless, "I Want You" with just a little bass and congas. And, I have been guilty of listening to it back-to-back quite a few times. You can click HERE to hear this musical mastery.

  • RANDOM RECOMMENDATION: I recently bought this hood and scarf combo to wear with my coats without hoods, and my "anti-winter" self loves how warm it keeps me. Let me know if you end up getting one too!

  • LIFESTYLE TIP:  Next time you find yourself traveling, and in need of a quick and easy place to store your luggage, you may want to try BAGBNB

  • FEEL GOOD STORY: In the spirit of this "Day of Love," I am sharing this little touching story of Gabi and Nick. If it doesn't fill your heart with smiles, I simply don't know what will!

During the course of one of my social scrolling moments this past week, I came across this propitious post from Alex Elle. The simple, yet powerful, thoughts and words she shared stood out to me immediately as something quite reverent.

As a person who has sometimes suffered from "imposter syndrome," in the wondering of things such as, "am I truly capable of accomplishing some of my goals?," I immediately began to think of my tribe of friends and family that I can lean into for extra encouragement, and sometimes a "gentle push" just when I need it. It can be so easy to get caught up in your head and not want to share things with others, for fear of burdening them. But, the reality is, that everyone needs someone at some time in their life. And, having a base of community, relationship, support, and friendship can truly be life altering. Having someone in your corner who can intercede on your behalf when you feel low, or who can lend a listening ear, word of encouragement, or a helping hand is priceless.

This little musing is a reflection of gratitude for those people. May we cherish them, love them, and be a mirror of reflection back to them when they need it.

This week's challenge is to reach out to someone in your tribe, and tell them how much they mean to you.

Thank you to everyone that has filled out the survey! I will be sharing some upcoming events that I have been working on in the next couple of newsletters- so stay tuned for more info and invites!

For those who haven't filled out the survey, I can definitely still use your feedback. So, if you have not done so already, please take  5 minutes to fill out:

Thanks sooooooo much in advance for your time!

***Totally disregard this part of the newsletter if you have already done this.

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!
