You Can Take It With You

I love that I can put on my hat,
walk out the door and take my business with me.

How to Support Your Wanderlust

Postcard from Barbara

During my sophomore year in high school, we were given the assignment to write a report on a career that interested us. I have no idea how I did my research, but I was thrilled to hand in mine which was titled “Flight to Success.”

Despite the fact that I had never flown on an airplane nor seen a flight attendant at work, I was enchanted by the idea of doing work that involved seeing the world. I got an A on my report, but my travel dreams remained my sad secret for many years.

It wasn’t until I discovered self-employment that I realized I could create a business that paid me to travel…and wouldn’t involve serving drinks. Unlike the weary corporate travelers I met at the airport, I got to choose where I would go and how often I would travel.

Before I knew it, I had accumulated a million miles on a single airline. Best of all, I discovered that money wasn’t the only reward of my joyfully jobless journey. Everywhere I went I met wonderful people, had new adventures, kept uncovering great ideas and opportunities.

I also met so many others who wanted to know how they could create their own version of a nomadic business. And so my How To Support Your Wanderlust seminar was born.

Thanks to an idea from Linda Ragan, a full-time RVer, that seminar has been expanded into an all-day event and loaded with new ideas and information. If your wanderlust is begging you to take to the road, join us in Las Vegas on May 15. See details below.

Oh, and if you’d like to collaborate on an event in your own part of the world, send me an email at barbara@joyfullyjobless.com and I’ll let you know what’s involved.

How To Support Your Wanderlust

Been bitten by the travel bug and need a way to finance your dream? You don’t have to win the lottery in order to see the world. Finding a way to fund your travel dreams can be a creative adventure in and of itself.

And,yes, you can take it with you. If you’re ready to become an entrepreneurial gypsy, this seminar will introduce you to some of the best mobile opportunities and show you how to generate ideas of your own.

Spend a day with Barbara Winter and Linda Ragan and you’ll learn:

Why an entrepreneurial spirit is as useful as a passport

How to clarify your personal vision and goals

How to uncover opportunities that fit you

Ways to earn money as you go

How to create a portfolio of profit centers

Off the beaten path sources of support

How to use a hobby or avocation to fund and enhance travel

Ways to get paid to travel (other than working for the airlines)

If you’re ready to travel farther and stay longer, this seminar will show you what others are doing and how you can take it with you, too. Pack your RV, grab your camera–but, first, take this seminar.

Join us at How to Support Your Wanderlust in Las Vegas, NV on May 15 from 9 AM to 4 PM and you’ll leave with ideas and information you can put to use immediately. You might also leave with a new friend or helpful connection.

This lively event will be hosted by Linda Ragan who has been a full-time RVer for seven years. Barbara J. Winter, gypsy teacher and author of Making a Living Without a Job has spent the past three decades helping others find creative, fulfilling work that suits them perfectly. Once she started her own business, the world of travel opened up to her. And she got paid on top of that! She’s eager to show you how to turn your RV into World Headquarters for your own enterprise.

If you’re ready to broaden your horizons, an investment of just $79 could be as useful as a passport. Seating is limited so don’t delay in grabbing your seat.
