Andrew Kless (PhD ‘20has won the 2020 Peter Lang Young Scholars Competition for German Studies in America for his dissertation "Infighting at the Front: Officers, Bureaucrats, and Politicians at War in German-Occupied Russian Poland, 1914–1915.” The award comes with a contract to publish his book.

Graeme Pente (MA ‘13) completed a PhD in history at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Jonathan Strassfeld (PhD ‘20) was awarded the first ever Leo Ribuffo Dissertation Prize of the Society for U.S. Intellectual History.
