So this is our last edition before we take a short break for Christmas and New Year. It goes without saying what a strange year this has been for all of us, but hopefully we've been helping you to keep going and make the most of what's on (or in!) around Hull & East Yorkshire.
I know the situation isn't ideal this Christmas, but I've been thinking recently how fortunate that the majority of us really are. We can still keep in touch with family, we can still enjoy all the lovely food, play games, watch films and so much more. If we focus on the things we CAN do and be grateful for it, we'll still have a brilliant time!
So this week we've rounded up some ideal Christmas Eve dining you can enjoy from our local restaurants at home. We've got the top tele available this week, and the theatre and panto you can enjoy online right now!
And if you're already looking forward to 2021, don't miss our round-up of the biggest music gigs which are planned for Hull next year. You'll be even more excited!
Oh and don't forget some of the great discounts and deals available on local food right now! Craft beers, take away, handmade doughnuts and more!
Whatever you decide to do, I hope you make the most of it.
On behalf of the WhatsOnHub team (Jack, Morgan, Zoe and Me), merry Christmas and a happy new year!
Hull Truck Theatre and KCOM have joined forces to create a magical digital experience for families to enjoy online this Christmas. Miracle on the Humber comprises four short festive stories which have been captured as mini films.
Yes, no matter what's going on, some Christmas traditions still need to be upheld. So if you're planning on a takeaway feast with the family on Christmas Eve, we've got a round up of the best cuisines available around Hull & East Yorkshire right now.
This week look out for The Revenant, Arthur Christmas, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Collateral, Finding Dory, Phantom Thread, The Man Who Invented Christmas, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, Trolls World Tour, Pawn Sacrifice and The Little Hours. Enjoy!
December is upon us and what a year it has been. If you’re one of the millions who decided to put up their Christmas trees early, then this is the list for you – and even if you didn’t, you can get in on the festive spirit too.
