Out of the Mouth of Babes

Continuing with the ten commandments:

Today's commandment was Honor your father and mother. After the lesson was over, two children raised their hands. The first one said that I need to say the words of my prayer slowly to honor God. Pastor Bill responded by saying that was one way to honor your father.

The second child responded that his father said to read the Bible. Pastor Bill also responded by saying that was one way to honor your father.

Some very thoughtful kids today!

Ways to Serve

* Looking for someone to fill in at the office once in a while when Terry is called away.

* Filling the empty boxes in the Alliance pantry.

* Help out in the media booth. Ed, Phil, and Terry might need a break sometime soon!

* Scripture readers/ liturgists

* Front flower gardens need a little attention.
