At the recent Extraordinary Travel Festival in Bangkok, our managing partner Orest Zub delivered an inspiring presentation about his hyperactive travel year taking it to the extreme (120+ NomadMania regions visited).

During Orest's presentation, he emphasized how crucial community is in the travel experience. Whether it's connecting with locals or fellow travellers, these relationships can significantly enrich one's journey.

In response, NomadMania has introduced a new feature called "Nomads Near Me and Around the World," which allows users to easily find and connect with others based on their location.

This location-sharing tool, available via the NomadMania app, aims to foster new friendships and build a stronger, global travel community. Try it out :-) 

Recent App Updates

On the quest to keep improving the app, we have made a few improvements. These include: 

• A scale has been added to the map
• New notifications for friend requests: badge indicators
• A larger avatar preview on the profile screen
