Hi Jennifer,
Greetings from sunny Spain, and welcome to issue 19 the habits issue of The Sunday Sitdown.
While good habits often tend to go out the window during holiday time - and that’s ok according to the experts - it’s a good idea to keep up some easy ones while in holiday mode. Ones I’ve kept up while soaking up the sun - waking early to watch the beautiful sunrise before the kids start to stir, keeping up to date with my daily planner; maybe for you it’s sticking to your exercise routine. Even shaking up a routine a litte by changing your run in the park to a run on the beach could motivate you to continue a healthy routine while switching off.
And with back-to-school approaching, September is always a perfect time to start some new habits to make family life that little bit more wonderful. Whether you're trying to improve your diet, get more exercise, or just be more organized, making small changes in your daily routine can have a big impact.
According to bestselling author James Clear, whose book Atomic Habits is linked below, habits don’t have to be hard. Start small and watch them turn your life into a more productive and fulfilling one.
Wishing you all a wonderful August and here’s to lots more sunshine!
Enjoy the issue,
Jen X
