Webinar Workshop - Thursday 26 November 2020
This workshop is aimed at local government staff working in urban development, social and health planning, transport planning and related areas.
The workshop will share major research findings from a number of different research projects led by RMIT researchers and implications across local government settings. The RMIT team will present findings on research investigating the early delivery of transport in new suburbs, Health Impact Assessment and transport planning, and liveability indicators included in the Australian Urban Observatory.
Topics include: Improving public transport, walking and cycling in growth area suburbs; costs and funding options; the health impact of different transport interventions and the connection to broader liveability.
