I'm convinced that many codebases would be a whole lot easier to understand and maintain if we had invested a bit more thought into a proper modular code structure.
I recently wrote about how we can implement proper modules in a Spring Boot app (though I call them "components" in that article).
In this week's new article, I'm discussing how we can leverage a modular codebase to create mock modules. With mock modules, we're mocking a whole module away and we can build our Spring Boot application out of real and mocked components as we see fit.
