When animals perceive a threat, their hormonal response takes over. This is what produces the âfight or flightâ response. Threats are not limited to the wild, however, and can be regularly observed in most businesses. But when someone at works throws you under the bus or a counterparty breaks her word, you cannot (at least should not) resort to physical violence and, while you could run, youâd get some strange looks.
