With Easter at the end of this month, we'll be closed from Good Friday (March 30th) through to Easter Monday (April 2nd).

Be that as it may, we've got a busy School Holiday period planned for you all, another month of great NEW stock & the opportunity to WIN a double pass to the World Science Festival Brisbane at the Queensland Museum.

"Waste Not, Want Not: Creating a Circular Economy"

Win a Double Pass to the World Science Festival Brisbane

The Queensland Museum will be hosting the World Science Festival Brisbane from the 21st to 25th of March and we have 2 double passes (2 x 4 tickets) to give away to two of our lucky customers.

The double passes are to see:

  • "Extreme Cities". Screening at Conservatorium Theatre. 7:30pm-9pm. Thursday 22nd March; and
  • "Waste Not, Want Not: Creating a Circular Economy". Screening at The Edge. 10am-11am. Friday 23rd March.

Every customer who spends in-store, by mail order or over the phone (regardless of how little or much you spend) will go into the draw to WIN.

Winners will be drawn at 4pm on Saturday 17th of March at our Warehouse (20 Burke Street, Woolloongabba).

Kardboard Kaiju Needs a +1

Last year The Edge made a giant cardboard monster as a part of the life sized game; Cardboard Kaiju. That monster is still in their foyer and needs a +1 to attend a party! They need your help to design and make his mate.

Woven Drink Bottle Holder Samples

Children's School Holiday Eco-Art Workshops

Once again, we'll be running a series of engaging environmental arts workshops for kids that will be fun, creative and educational.

Designed for children 4-12 years old, children will learn something new, think outside the box and take home a special creation they will love!

Materials included. Tickets are $20 per workshop. Witchcraft & Wizardry Club is $40. Max of 15 participants per workshop. Parents/carers are free.

Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult.

All workshops run from 4th - 11th April.

Woven Drink Bottle Holder Eco-Art Workshop

As of July this year, Queensland is banning single-use plastic bags and starting a recycling refund scheme for drink bottles.

What better time to embrace the reusable drink bottle and make your own holder?

Join us on Saturday 24th of March. 2pm - 4pm. $27.50 (+ tax) per ticket.

You will learn an easy weaving technique in the round to create a no-sew bag that fits your favourite drink bottle like a glove.

Suitable for beginner weavers. Ages 13+

About Us

Reverse Garbage Queensland is a not-for-profit worker run co-operative that promotes environmental sustainability and resource reuse. We collect high quality industrial discards, diverting them away from landfill and sell them at a low cost to the general public.

We collect from more than 300 businesses and factories in the greater Brisbane area, with approximately three tonnes coming into the warehouse each week. With a truck full of materials coming in almost every day, there's always something new and different to find!

Public Transport

We encourage taking public transport to the warehouse as we are within close walking distance (Less than 5 mins) from both Park Road train station and Boggo Rd bus station as well as bus stops along Ipswich Rd (Approx. 10 mins). Parking Facilities

We have seven parking spaces in front of the Reverse Garbage Queensland warehouse and there is also two-hour street parking available around the corner on Elliott St.

We ask that customers please do not park in the car parks of businesses on Burke Street. We would not like you to get towed!
