Our fearless Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Nev Zubcevik, and passionate Education Co-Director, Dr. Betty Maloney, opened the second day of the conference by teaching a course to 300 healthcare providers on “One Health Clinical Tools for Primary Care.” They introduced the concept of the One Health framework which recognizes that the health of people, animals, and the environment are intertwined. The lecture used Lyme disease to illustrate this approach, presenting relevant peer-reviewed studies on clinical strategies. They concluded by teaching participants how to use Invisible’s brand new HEALTH Environmental & Vector-borne Risk Assessment tool. Healthcare providers gave feedback after the course concluded. A doctor from Washington state commented that it had “Great content and much overlooked information that is so necessary for all physicians with complex patients.” And that it included “great educational materials covering important topics that often are not covered.”
Follow us for more this week on how important it is for our team to attend conferences. And, stay tuned to hear about a new clinical tool Invisible is launching!
