• Writers and creatives wishing to strengthen project presentations for film, television, and prose fiction.
• Writers and creatives wishing to build and strengthen personal and professional presentation skills for portfolio work.
• Writers and creatives wishing to strengthen branding, marketing, pitching and promotional skills.
• Writers and creatives working on project illustrations, clips and reels.
• This is a sales & presentation class with an emphasis on graphics and clips and does not require familiarity with script format for participation.

• Writers and creatives wishing to strengthen script openings and sets ups and build a stronger structural base for story launch in feature and teleplay scripts and in novels.
• Writers and creatives wishing to strengthen dynamic elements in story openings including visuals, locations and motion in feature and teleplay scripts and in prose novels.
• Writers and creatives wishing to study echo, esclation and illumination writing craft skills in set up and pay off in story opening mechanics in feature and teleplay scripts and in prose novels.
• Writers and creatives wishing to strengthen character introductions, impressions, and set up in story openings in feature and teleplay scripts and in novels.
• Writers and creatives wishing to strengthen plot focus and follow through in feature and teleplay scripts and in novels.
• This is a very fast moving class and it's imperative you bring a story you are working on to class -- either on the page in a written script opening or in concept form ready to hit the ground running writing those pages.
• While this class is beneficial to prose novelists, you must have a working knowledge of script format and be able to work in script form to participate in this class.

WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS CLASS 

• Writers and creatives wishing to raise concept levels above the mundane in  feature and teleplay scripts and pitches and in novel pitches and prose manuscripts.
• Writers and creatives wishing to study and utilize story building blocks and their use elevating concept including elevation of character, location, action, premise tension, mental real estate, genre -- and more.
• Writers and creatives wishing to elevate pitching skills in presentations for feature and teleplay scripts as well as prose novels.
• This is a concept class with an emphasis on concept and concept building blocks and does not require familiarity with script format to participate in class.
• You may bring an in progress concept to work on strengthening and elevating that concept during the course or may brainstorm new concepts while in class. Several past students have created new concepts during class that they have gone on to develop into feature scripts and television pilots after class.
