At our Mini's, Juniors and Weekend Classes, the children receive all ingredients, equipment, craft activity, a snack, and a recipe card to take home.
These classes can be run face to face (class room style session) or online with children taking part at home.
You will receive 3 years worth of different term time recipes. These alternate between sweet and savory weeks and are all very varied. The recipes range from cakes, biscuits, breads, pasta and rice dishes, pies, puddings, lunches, dinners and treats.
No week is the same for 3 years - this is excellent for keeping our little customers engaged. It also teaches them a range of skills and encourages them to explore a range of new foods.
For each recipe we have lots to help you! For instance, a lesson plan with hints and tips, a shopping and equipment list as well as a tutorial videos which shows you how to make each dish.
All our recipes are carefully costed to the gram / ml. We recommend a costed craft activity for each class too. The children take part in a craft whilst their food is cooking.
These sessions are typically run within the local community (eg. a village hall, community centres etc).
In 2019 the average charge per Minis and Juniors class (across our team) was £9 per person. This is paid by parents half termly in advance. We typically host up to 14 children in these classes, but can take more at a mini's class.
