Church Flowers

This week, the Church flowers have been kindly provided by Rosemary Armitage.

And apologies to Liz & Chris Pinder & family for not acknowledging their kind donation for last week's flowers ... in memory of Jean & George Crompton.

Womens Fellowship

Our speaker on Tuesday 29th April will be Belinda Hunter from Guide Dogs for the Blind, who will be bringing along two Labradors and will be giving us an update on their work.

The members of the Knit Knax group wish to say a HUGE 'thankyou' to all of the generous people who supported our stall and raised the wonderful sum of £180 for The Leprosy Mission.

... And Jean Keithley would like to say a big 'thank you' for the lovely flowers from Church and all her birthday cards.

YMC Annual Report 2025

Thanks to all who have contributed reports this year. The 2025 Annual Report is now available in hard copy in the vestibule.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance

After Christmas I sent a cheque for £352.20 to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, which was the result of donations received for the use of the Christmas Post Service. I received a lovely THANK YOU CARD from Angela (the Regional Fundraiser) and a CERTIFICATE awarded to Yeadon Methodist Church for raising a total of £5,935.89 over the last few years. 

The CARD and CERTIFICATE are on display in the Vestibule and we congratulate all who help with the organisation of the Christmas Post for their commitment in raising this magnificent amount.

Christian Aid Week 2025: May 11th - 17th

Because we have no volunteers able to collect from door to door, as last year, there will be envelopes on seats from Sunday May 11th to Sunday May 18th. Please make a contribution if you are able, and place your envelope in the Christian Aid Box in the Vestibule or on the weekly Collection Plate. 

If you are a taxpayer and willing to complete the Gift Aid declaration on the envelope, money from the Government will also go to support Christian Aid.

Prayer Breakfast

Our Prayer breakfast will meet next on Thursday 1st May at 9 am when Cayte will lead our prayer time followed by fellowship over breakfast.
