Musings from my Writing Cave
I have a ton to share with you all this month, so much is happening! The biggest news is that the Power of Four series has been relaunched, and ebooks for Books 1-3 are available now! Woot woot, happy dance! Okay, maybe not so much since I am super pooped, but I am ecstatic with the changes and plan to celebrate all month long.
Because of the launch, NaNoWriMo2020 was a bust, lol. While I did get some words, it was nowhere near the 50,000 I needed to "win" the event. To be fair, I did upload and order all of my Power of Four books in print, and had to read through the proof copies which took some time. I found some last-minute tweaks, so there was a last-minute scramble to get the files where they needed to be. I am happy to report paperbacks are set for my 12.10.20 launch!
So what is happening in my latest WIP? With the delay, I believe I left my Heroine and Hero sitting in a restaurant eating Italian food, but I can't be sure. All I know is that the ghost started speaking to them, and she isn't happy! I plan on using this time after the launch to do a bit more plotting on this story since there are some threads that need tugging. I'll be sure to keep you posted!
The Thanksgiving holiday here was quiet due to some restrictions on gatherings in my part of the world, but I was okay with that as I needed some downtime. I hope that however you celebrate the upcoming holidays, that you and your loved ones are able to find a way to connect and stay safe.
