Dear Friends,

Happy Holidays!!

This fall has been full of travel for me; travel to talk about Mistress of the Ritz and also a personal writing retreat in Colorado—Estes Park—where I finished the first draft of my next manuscript. I’m working on polishing it up now and will hand it into my editor on January 5th. While I can’t share what it’s about just yet, I promise you that in the next newsletter, I will. So stay tuned!

But to tide you over, I have a holiday gift for you! My dear friend and fellow author, Edward Kelsey Moore, and I have recorded a special holiday episode of our podcast, Who the Hell are We? This episode—which we recorded on location at one of the most iconic Chicago restaurants, Miller’s Pub—is all about our favorite things. What’s my favorite lipstick? Ed’s favorite sunscreen? My must-have travel items? What we’re both reading right now? Tune in and find out!

I’ll be back out on the road in the new year, of course! If you live in Florida, you have a good chance of catching me somewhere; I have upcoming events in Naples, Palm Beach, and Boca Raton. Here’s a full list of all upcoming events.

I hope you all have a beautiful, peaceful holiday, celebrating in the way that gives you the most joy. I’m going to be spending it with my husband, my cats, my tree, and my laptop (finishing up that next book, remember?). But I’m going to take time to see some of the Chicago sights, and drink hot cocoa, and just rest and recharge for the coming year.
