Buying me books is a good way to win over my heart.
Reading them, and discussing them with me,

Well, March certainly has been like a lion for me!!!
It's been a rough couple of days lately with some health issues, but I'm happy to say that I've gotten a lot of good work done.
Taken: A Storm Novel, is available on Amazon, both e-book and print. I released the e-book sometime at the beginning of last week. Thinking I would get the print book done in short order and then release it and tell everyone about it, well, that didn't happen quite so quickly.
After a few hours spent in the ER, and some serious time sleeping, I have finally felt well enough to finish my work.
And, as a belated birthday gift to you all, as well as a thank you, I'm giving you a free digital copy of Taken. Check out the link below. This is a companion novel to the Storm Series. If you want to read the books chronologically, Taken would fall somewhere between Book 1 and 2.
Other than my fun hospital stint, life has been the normal round of work, editing, and reading. I decided that I am running myself a little too thin (probably why my body decided to rebel), and I need to spend more time away from all my work (both writing and flying). I have a goal to go outside and exercise more. Hike, walk, maybe even run someday.
I'm hoping that if I round out my days more with a mix of stuff, I won't get so burned out with all the work of it. So here is to well-rounded days.
16-year-old Eridale Storm starts an epic journey to protect her family and uncover the secrets of an empire.
From Book 1: Storm Child ONE GIRL AGAINST AN EMPIRE, AND HER CHOICES COULD CHANGE THE COURSE OF A COUNTRY. To escape capture by Imperial soldiers, 16-year-old Eridale Storm leaves the only home she’s ever known and drags her younger sister into the wilds of Mericon—the Empire that formed when America collapsed—hoping to find safety with the rebel Freedom Fighters.
Each step she takes draws Eridale deeper into the conflict between the Empire and the rebels and brings more questions about Eridale’s heritage, questions no one wants to answer.
Caught between the threads of deception, rebellion, and treachery, Eridale struggles to find out who she is. The answers could lead the country back to freedom or shackle them under the imperial throne forever.
