That's a lot of HERE's but all good stuff awaits at the other end, I promise you.
This is an exciting time for me as an indie author if not a bit scary. Writing the books is one thing, but editing, formatting, cover design and publishing them is another. I can tell you there was a lot of head scratching, colourful language and vast amounts of chocolate consumed to get that first book out.
Tech savvy I am not, but with the support and guidance from my website designer and accomplished indie author, Kevin Partner, I have managed the first major hurdle. I think Rod Stewart may have got it right, the first cut is the deepest, and with a little less blood, sweat and tears this time, broomsticks crossed I can master the art of techno-witchery to get the next book out by May.
I've a feeling the next couple of weeks of publishing Bonkers...is going to send me in that direction although you could say I've asked for it... penance for picking such a title in the first place.
I wonder if, like people do with their names (and dogs), could we as authors grow into our book titles? I know it certainly felt like that with the first book...good Goddess, the start of a self-fulfilling prophecy... Bonkers indeed.
