Transforming St Paul's Church Lindale into a vibrant community facility

We are delighted to have reached a total of £16,837.50 in our first ever Crowdfunding exercise. The initial appeal is now closed.  This has been achieved by the donations of over 80 individuals and a grant of £5,000 from Sport England. The latter is in recognition of the potential we see in using the Church building for some sporting activities due to the height and length opportunities it will provide.

Thank you to all of you who have contributed. We have obtained quotations for repairs to the roof and tower. Our next steps include getting surveys done to establish in detail the condition of the whole building, and then liaise with the Diocese before signing our lease.

Anyone with experience of writing funding bids, now is a great time to step forward, as one 'next step' will be looking in detail at further funding opportunities. We have researched some of this, but further research and actual bid writing is required over the coming months.
