Hello Friends-

"Welcome back to this week's episode of, "The Cre8tive Life"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and musings.

I hope that you and your loved ones had a wonderful holiday yesterday (all things considered).  If you know me, you probably know that I'm actually not too big on holidays, and actually tend to get a bit moody (and even more reflective that my normal state- believe it or not). I spent my day doing a lot of thinking, talking to some of my family, and binge watching some interesting shows (if you haven't seen the "In Her Words" documentary about Princess Diana- I recommend seeing it before it leaves Netflix on the 30th). My "gourmet dinner" was a turkey sandwich, air fried broccoli (that I excitedly just learned how to make this week), and some cinnamon babka.

Aside from that, my week was spent working and doing a wee bit of art. ***Speaking of which, I'll be updating my artist page with a lot of my newer things this weekend- in the event that anyone is looking for any gifts to purchase for the holidays. Sharing the link with more info: HERE. Thanks in advance for any support!

As always, sending lots of love, hugs, and prayers to you all!!!

Random stories, pictures, video highlights, and other life musings can be found on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week (when/if I end up posting anything).

*And, if you have missed any previous newsletters, feel free to check out the archive section on my website: HERE.

Continued prayers that you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy

(mentally & physically) out there 💗.

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia (n): The fear of long words (How's that for irony?)

  • ADVICE: “When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." - Jimi Hendrix

  • MOOD MUSIC: I stumbled on this NPR Tiny Desk from Jhené Aiko (honestly, it might have been the most I have ever heard of her music), and absolutely loved it! She's definitely just got herself a new fan!

  • QUARANTINE RECOMMENDATION: I haven't seen "Jingle Jangle" yet (hoping to save it for one of my holiday binges); but, it has been getting rave reviews. I am really looking forward to watching it!

  • THE MORE YOU KNOW: You have probably been using some of your everyday items totally wrong...Take a gander at this read, and be astounded!

  • LIFESTYLE TIP: If you're looking for some Black Friday deals you might find this collective of ad shares helpful. (*I'm also, sharing my special Rakuten $40 cash back code HERE if you're looking to save a couple of extra dollars on any of your online shopping needs (or, you can copy/paste the link from here too: https://www.rakuten.com/r/CRE8TI203?eeid=28187 )

  • FEEL GOOD SHARE: This story of a good samaritan helping a lost 6 year-old boy find his way home warmed my heart, and help restore a little more of my faith in humanity.

A piece of peace I made this week.

This week's challenge is:

A wild card because I couldn't think of anything at the moment...

I will be taking a bit of a mini pause on my community activations as I gear up for some new projects that will taking up a lot more of my bandwidth. But, be on the lookout for some (very sporadic) events here and there. (As doing these events, and sharing in community really does bring me joy.)

And, if you haven't heard me say it lately, I want to thank you for your support and readership. It means a lot that you take time out of your day to take in my  little musings and life shares!

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
