Hello from gorgeous cow country in upstate NY!

The madness of the holidays is almost over, but so is much of the sublimity, so that's always a little sad. This year was more than usually hectic, but it provided many scenes of bliss that are sure to live on in memory. Take this one, for instance:

I'm relishing showing this one to them when they're teenagers :)Ā

As 2020 starts properly, I'm being more careful with my time, but that doesn't mean I'm writing fewer books. I just need to be more indistractable. (We're working on the details...)Ā

There are going to be some exciting bits of news coming your way in the coming weeks and months. To start out, I'm continuing my author interview series with a wonderful new author of epic sci fi, Christopher Ruocchio. He is the true heir to DuneĀ andĀ The Book of the New Sun andĀ Battlestar Gallactica. And he's an intelligent, interesting young man who... yep... was inspired by Jordan Peterson to write the kind of book that he ended up writing.Ā Read on to find out more about that...

New Books Coming YourĀ Way!

So... I have a publishing schedule this year of ... one book per month!

Well, that's not strictly true. Some months I will bundle existing books together into ebook box sets. But still!

And I'm starting tomorrow, so you've been warned. Tomorrow is launch day forĀ Heroes for All Time: Inspiring stories of heroism from Russian history.Ā And guess what? We all need stories of heroes, because election season is about to begin! Oh goodness. Time to wallow in stories of past greatness, and then figure out ways to improve the present.Ā

So look for an email from me tomorrow with a special preview of the book.

In the meantime, thank you again for joining me on my writerly adventures. It really wouldn't be nearly as interesting alone :)

~Nicky
