We are getting closer to a new and exciting 2020/21 season at SHSLSC and would like to remind returning members that it's time to renew your membership. The recommended way to do this is via the SLSA Members Area online portal - it's quickest and easiest; however you are also welcome to visit us at the office.

**Please note that membership fees must be paid in full to complete the renewal.

Woodside Nipper/Cadet renewals: Parents/Guardians can create a family group through the Members Area so that payments and memberships for the family can be easily completed online.

If you don't have an online account, you can create one directly via the online portal.

If you don't know your username, you can also sort this out on the online portal, or contact members@secretharbourslsc for assistance.

If you have any questions please visit our website or contact

A huge thank you to our Cadets and volunteers who ran the SHSLSC information stall at Secret Harbour Square on August 8th & 22nd.

The information stall was in place for community members to have a chat and ask questions about surf lifesaving, Woodside Nippers and how to get involved at the club. The team had a steady flow of traffic to the stall and helped with a number of enquiries.

Thanks to the following volunteers for taking the time to promote the club and inform community members about the important work surf lifesavers carry out to keep our beaches safe:

Jodie Barker, Jacqui Towell, Alan Robinson and Cadets Patrick and Riley Walsh, Jacob Barker and Jack Stirling.

Peer Support at SHSLSC

Left to Right: SHSLSC Peer Supporters Lorry Rule and Carolyn Wilson

“Surf Lifesaving WA recognises that the mental well-being of our members is important in helping them maintain healthy relationships, cope with the normal stressors of life, and better contribute to their communities, as well as being key to organisational success and sustainability.” [, 12 September 2019]

At Secret Harbour SLSC, members are invited to connect with our Peer Support volunteers if they need assistance, support and even just a listening ear.

Peer Supporters are active members of SHSLSC who are available to provide confidential support and refer members to additional resources if required. They can help their peers work through issues, options and goals whilst providing emotional and empathetic support.

We are fortunate to have two very kind-hearted Peer Supporters at the club who are available to assist our members: Carolyn Wilson and Lorry Rule.

Find out more about Carolyn and Lorry and how to contact them should you ever need support.
