FSU Opera presents the story of "Candide," a French satire first published by Voltaire in 1759. The story begins with Candide and a group of his peers being taught by his mentor, and it is at this point that a series of truly unfortunate events begin to unfold. Performances take place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, through Saturday, Nov. 4, with a matinee performance at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall.
