KPI's

We have encountered some issues with our monthly sales data that we are working to resolve. Watch this space...

Case Study: Barclay Books

We have been working on a series of Circle customer case studies and are excited to share the first instalment.

Barbara and Clayton of Barclay Books sell new and second-hand titles in Western Australia.

Read the story of Barclay Books and the ABE integration.

The Future Library Trust

Scottish artist Katie Peterson has planted a forest of 1000 trees in Norway which will become an anthology of 100 novels published in the year 2114.

Each year an author will contribute a manuscript that will be housed in a dedicated reading room within an Oslo library.

Authors are chosen for their outstanding contributions to literature or poetry, and for their works' ability to capture the imagination of this and future generations.

Pricing Structure

We have received feedback that smaller pricing brackets are preferable. The idea is to reduce abrupt price changes as you shift from one bracket to another.

The proposal is to change the 500k steps to 250k steps in the turnover range 500k to 3 million and reduce the grey transition zone from +- 50k to +- 25k.

We think this simplifies the structure and will result in a price cut or no change for stores. Therefore we expect there will be no objections, but do let us know if you see any issues with this.

Beta Test Requests & What's Next

May was dedicated to improving the Agency and Distributor settings and the efficiency of setting up new stores. We continue pushing towards upgrading the framework our application runs on from Rails 3 to Rails 4, which has proved to be quite the undertaking.

Beta Testing:

  • The new customer order interface is ready to look at and there is a video covering its features. Note this is just the interface with place holder data; next we will feed real data into it.
