Two Years Overlanding by LR Defender

In this interview, Jelle and Tine share their fascinating journey into the world of overland travel, beginning with their childhood experiences and how a passion for adventure slowly grew.

From Jelle’s envy of friends studying abroad to his later decision to backpack in South America, and Tine’s longing to explore beyond the confines of chronic illness, their mutual love for travel brought them together in 2017.

They immediately bonded over Tine’s dream of overlanding, which led to the creation of “Panda,” a 1998 Land Rover Defender they rebuilt from the ground up.

Their story is one of determination, resilience, and a shared dream of exploring the world at their own pace, overcoming challenges and relishing the freedom of life on the road.
