Eyre Peninsula – Where Else!

Wow what a massive month for the region.

Aero Space
A space first with two successful test rocket launches at Koonibba by Southern Launch carrying a payload for DEWC.

Port Projects
The Lucky Bay Ferry is on it’s way back into service while T Ports is recruiting staff for this year’s grain harvest.

Iron Road and EPCBH have secured Macquarie Capital as a funding partner for the development of a $250m multi-use deep sea port at Cape Hardy.

District Council of Ceduna has completed the Thevenard fish unloading facility.

Mining and Infrastructure
Andromeda Metals is pursuing Kaolin mining feasibility at Poochera.

Kimba is steadily progressing opportunities spinning out of the proposed National Radioactive Waste Management Facility project.

ElectraNet and SA Water gear up to deliver improved energy distribution ($290m) and water security ($90m desal plant). ElectraNet have received funding approval for the Eyre Peninsula Link with works set to commence in March 2021. 

Tourism
The proposed $90m destination resort hotel at the Whyalla Foreshore is being marketed off the plan subject to PA.

Caravan Parks, hotels, motels, rentals being heavily booked right across the region as Australian’s rediscover our beautiful and exciting back yard.
