Picture an 8-bit video game version of a Technical Death Metal riff, and thatâs exactly how this album kicks off with the opening track, Flight of The Quetzalcoatlus. Then it gets heavy and technical, just as youâd expect from an Intergalactic Tech Death Metal Band. Noodling guitars, double kick, and guttural vocals with a touch of melodic piano pretty-well sum this one up.

German seems to be the flavour of the month for my reviews lately, and here we have another German act by the name of Lord of the Lost with their double album Judas. Now, Iâd go into some of the info from their press release, but itâs littered with some weird German words that I just donât understand. The one bit I did understand is something thatsounded German, but is actually just two English words put together, and that was âgenrefluidâ.

Well, fuck then! Isnât this a fucking doozy! This may possibly be my shortest review yet, and possibly one of the shortest albums yet. Clocking in at a solid 23 min or so and containing 10 tracks and a very short, very murderous intro!
The opening and title track Unleash The Rage does exactly that, and holy fucking brutal! Dead In A Hot Tin Shed follows suit and is possibly even more brutal than the opening track.

Any cinema goer could be forgiven for going into a G.I. Joe prequel and not expecting much. The bar for this franchise has not been set very high. 2009âs G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra was pretty bad and 2013âs G.I. Joe: Retaliation was only marginally better, so to not expect much from Snake Eyes: G.I Origins is only natural. The pleasant surprise is that Snake Eyes is not only the best of the G.I.

I want to preface what I am about to say here by saying that I am normally the person in a conversation that will defend M. Night Shyamalan as a film-maker.
