Bridgerton Season 4 set to debut in 2026
This week Netflix and Shondaland have officially confirmed that Bridgerton Season 4 will be returning in 2026, with a new poster showing Sophie Beckett's masquerade ball dress and mask.
In a post on Instagram, Netflix teased viewers that "one thing is certain, gentle readers, a masquerade is like no other event. Prepare yourselves, for anything can happen. Bridgerton Season 4 shall debut in 2026."
Benedict Bridgerton will be the lead in this new season, with Luke Thompson taking centre stage and Yerin Ha starring as his love interest, Sophie Baek.
Whilst the smash-hit Netflix drama may be set in an American fantasy of Regency-era London, many of the scenes throughout the series were actually filmed right here in Bath. For example, you may recognise the façade of our very own Holburne museum as the location for many of Lady Danbury’s lavish balls.
Will we spot anymore of our handsome Georgian architecture in the background of Season 4?

Homity Pie
Readers of a certain, erm, vintage might remember London’s iconic vegetarian/wholefood restaurant Cranks, the original incarnation of which opened in Carnaby Street in 1961 and, by 1968, had a further 16 branches across London. Of the Cranks menu, their signature Homity Pie - a humble but sensationally satisfying concoction of hearty vegetables, silky double cream and strong cheese, served in a wholemeal pastry case - became Cranks’ founder David Canter’s signature dish… and it’s still easy to see why this cosy, autumnal, meat-free lunch or supper dish trended way before the phrase ‘plant-based’ entered our lexicon.

Travesties at The Rondo Theatre, 8 - 11 October
Zurich, 1917. Henry Carr plays Algernon in ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ then sues the company’s business manager, James Joyce. Meanwhile, Lenin is trying to return to Russia, and Romanian poet Tristan Tzara is starting the Dada anti-art movement.
Those are the historical facts. The rest is ‘Travesties’, which spins the elderly Carr’s unreliable memories into a breathless, hilarious tale of love, art, revolution and espionage. With a plot borrowed from Wilde’s classic comedy plus the liberal sampling of multiple theatrical and literary sources along the way, it’s an erudite and very funny dramatic mash-up, and a lesser-spotted Stoppard gem.
At Bath’s Rondo Theatre, this Bath Drama autumn show is definitely one not to be missed – and is probably the first ever production of this extraordinary comedy in the city.
