The Great Plastic Rescue
In last month's issue we shared what the State Government is doing to support the ban on some single-use plastics. This month, we're sharing with you where to take those single-use plastics to keep them out of landfill.
The Great Plastic Rescue is an independent Brisbane-based start up wanting to find local and affordable solutions for recycling the clean plastic waste that cannot be readily recycled by existing Council operations.
If you're a small business or centre that feels a bit behind the 8 ball with the ban, The Great Plastic Rescue can be your solution to responsibly dispose of redundant supply.
They're currently collecting:
Straws - Stirrers - Plates & Bowls - Cutlery - Polystyrene Containers
