Hi Light Riders,
As I hunkered down this weekend to finish writing The Sword of Varen, I can't but mention how I drew inspiration from one of you readers.
I enjoy getting messages from you about things that inspire you or ideas that are triggered in your own lives from my stories.
After all, I aim to write stories with a positive message and often around topics that have helped in my own growth.
So while witches and fairies, dragons, and elves, demons, and sidhe might seem out of this world, we as readers connect to them best when we can relate to them.
It's unlikely that we will, in our daily lives, fly strapped to a phoenix while fending invading hordes of gremlins and defeat them with the powers of a magic elven ring... or is it?
But the knowledge each and every one of you has, whether you know it or not, is invaluable.
Each of you is a treasure and each of you has unique gifts.
So I feel honored when you share your wisdom and ideas that move you which can help inspire the stories.
I certainly leaned into a fellow writer's suggestions to write a couple paragraphs in Alina's story.
And I look forward to more ideas.
Happy Creating Light Riders!
