The R.J. Book Store Has Re-Opened

Literally as I'm preparing to send this newsletter, brand new copies of the 2020 Revised Edition of Haunting Obsession finally arrived on my doorstep, so I've added it to my online book store. The rest of my titles will follow shortly.

Outside of personal appearances, my online store is the only place to order personalized signed books mailed by me, and the exclusive online outlet of the very cool Haunting Obsession Elegant Paper Dolls.

Story 1

Brand Relaunch

It's worth acknowledging things have appeared pretty dormant for the past couple years, and I don't just mean because of the usual 2020 stuff (though I mean that, too).

Since 2019, quite a lot has been happening--perhaps too quietly. So let's review.

First, my paranormal trilogy has been released in audio book form, read with much drama and pizazz by an awesome narrator who has, in the time since become a good friend: Danielle Muething. 

Secondly, all my paranormal titles were re-released in 2020 under my own in-house label, Dark Whimsy Books, with new manuscript edits, new layouts, and in some cases, coming in at a cheaper price point, and in two cases, inserting previously unused additional illustrations.

Finally, my SF spaceship stories about Commander Sayuri Arai and the Red Lotus asteroid mining ship were picked up by Hydra Publications. (See story 2 below for an update on that!)

I can confirm that I am drafting brand new stories in both series. It will be a little while (but hopefully not too long) before the next books come out.

Story 2

Commanding the Red Lotus Re-Launches from Hydra Publications

After being out of print for almost a year, I'm super-excited to announce that Hydra Publications has just "relaunched" Commanding the Red Lotus. Story 3

Darkness With a Chance of Whimsy Coming to Audiobok

Because I am not stupid, I have brought Danielle Muething back on board to work her magic narrating my short story collection. As of this writing, I have just heard her first pass recordings of the entire production, including Able Bodied, Starter Kit, and Backstage Pass. and of course, Robot Vampire, and this release is going to be simply amazing!

AND... each story introduction by me will be read by me. I feel like maybe I should apologize for that last one, but hopefully you enjoy the stories anyway.

As of this writing, the audio book files are about to be submitted to ACX, so the book should go live by the end of May. When it does, you'll be the first to know.
