RECRUITING A UNIT POPCORN KERNEL
If you are looking for a new kernel or someone to assist in this year’s sale – Here are some helpful pointers to consider while trying to fill that role. You need a person that is:
Creative, energetic, and Fun!
Has Initiative and is a self-starter. Salesperson mentality; ability to persuade Scouts and families to sell popcorn, take time to visit with unit leadership, and develop a sales plan for unit sales growth.
A Leader. Ability to recruit enough of the right people to get the job done.
A good communicator and problem solver.
Experienced with the Popcorn Sale Campaign.
Understands the total picture of the MCC Popcorn Campaign selling popcorn for the unit program and council support.
