Vol. 9, November 2020

It's the end of November 2020 which means that Harding students are finishing the semester from home. Even though students may not be on campus, there are still plenty of ways to learn about and prepare to study abroad.

  • Visit our website and learn more about each program
  • Sign up to study abroad. Earlier this year, we moved the application, transfer, and cancellation forms online to make it easier to sign up and manage your application.
  • Watch the documentary videos of our programs (included further down in this email).
  • Take this extra time at home to learn about the countries you might want to visit during your semester abroad. Reading a book about Peru or watching a documentary or movie about Greece could be a fun way to get a headstart on making the most of your study abroad experience.
  • For those wanting to get a head start on learning a new language, Brackett Library offers Mango, a language learning resource, that is free to Harding students! Below is a list of the different languages available on the service.

Calling all Harding University Study Abroad Alumni! We want to hear what you're thankful for from your study abroad experience.

Maybe it was getting to see an amazing site, taking part in some unique experience, expanding your worldview, the relationships you built with friends, etc. Please post on Instagram what you're thankful for from your study abroad experience. Be sure to tag us (@HUintl) and use the hashtag #HUintlThankful so that we might reshare your post on social media or in a future newsletter.
