In the Fall of 2022, the Championship Meet Task Force was created to review our current Championship Meet Structures. Their report and subsequent recommendations from the Technical Committees can be found HERE.

Highlights:

• 10&U Championship Meet separate from 11-14
• Single Age Time Standards
• Automatic Regional 1st Place advance to State
• Senior Super Finals

Elections for Illinois Swimming Junior Athlete Reps will be held electronically in September with the election results announced at HOD October 6th. 

The Athlete Reps are working on a survival guide for interested athletes. Encourage your athletes to follow Illinois Swimming on Social Media and be on the look out for more information later this summer!

All clubs receive 2 votes at House of Delegates - A non-athlete and ATHLETE vote. 

This year, we are planning a camp for Athlete Delegates, prior to HOD. There will be an in-water session, followed by classroom sessions on Illinois Swimming governance, etc. 

Please start thinking about your club athlete delegate and put HOD/Delegate Camp on their radar!

*Meets listed on the planning calendar have been voluntarily listed for planning purposes. Teams using this calendar should verify the meet has been sanctioned. Sanctioned meets can be found on the Illinois Swimming home page under team events.
