The English definition of purpose is “the reason something is done, used, or created.” And the Bible affirms in Proverbs 20:5 that “The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out”. After these few months of reconnecting with friends, meeting new people, studying for one of my licensing exams, and spending time with my brother, I've discovered that a big part of my purpose, is truly to be an "Albright". To bring light, hope, and love to every person and place I find myself in.
Something tells me that this new season isn’t only about a new job, a new environment, new relationships, and working with new people. I believe that it's about stepping into a new route in which I get to learn how to be an Albright to the world with everything that I am and everything that I have.
What I want more than anything is for me with your help to be able to learn as fast as possible, get used to chaos, hardship, and darkness while keeping a smile as bright as possible so I can share it with the world in need. Why? Because we get to bring the light, love, and hope – the light, hope, and love of Jesus. We get to bring God's love to people who wouldn't get it otherwise. And we are starting with Colorado Springs, USA, and Bongolo, Gabon.
