Instead of the pure maple syrup I would suggest rice malt sryup, but even with the maple syrup, these would be nice as an occasional treat!

What has a higher sugar content?

a) 45 gram packet of Starburst

b) 100 grams of cranberries

And the answer to yesterday's quiz is...

It's actually very close! Rasberries have 4.2g of sugar per 100g and strawberries have 4.9g. Both are classed as a low sugar food in essence, but remember that fructose is the most addictive type and fruit can ferment in the gut too. But berries are a better type of fruit compared to mango, grapes and bananas!
